Craig Sira - Midland, Michigan

About me:
I have been training in the martial arts since 1984 with some boxing prior to that time. I have been a member of Kyusho International since April 2004 and am a Certifying Instructor Practicioner Level 1 in Midland, Michigan. I instruct a monthly kyusho jitsu class. Kyusho International offers a step-by-step hands on method to learn and apply the pressure points. The focus is on experience, not theory.

I instruct a self defense class that I call Combative Martial Arts. This is a streetwise martial art class. It is simply basic techniques that are drilled and then applied to full contact sparring. Proper mind-set is developed and positioning skills and strategy is stressed at all times. The class covers stick and knife fighting - including full contact stick sparring. It is a challenging and fun class that develops self defense, confidence and gets/keeps you in shape. I have studied karate, modern arnis and a whole bunch of other systems prior to studying Kyusho. Kyusho jitsu has enhanced (and continues to enhance) everything that I have learned in the martial arts. It makes every technique more effective.

well first i have to say that im no longer training at a dojo i train with a group of friends at my home. i set up one of my rooms to train indoors and set up a area in my back yard and becouse i live in the hills my backyard is about 20 acres. but back to your question the type of reallity training that i do are dressing in normal cloths when training, training on various turrance as well as different times of day to account for changes in lght another thing i like to do is to bring in a friend with no training except good old street fighting and have him attack as he would in a street fight
